Default Epic Lord of Blades beaten by Revenants

First off, a major thank you to Ira and Swez for helpin us out. This was our 2nd attempt and first we tried it without pugs. We had a good strategy and ran it pretty close to perfectly efficient. A few deaths could be avoided here and there, but overall I thought it was a success. The raid definitely has a good challenge to it. Resources used were around 120 pots and about 800 heal scrolls among the group. Anyway here are the screenies:

We will get alot better at this, but I dont see this getting beat in the near future without a little resource usage. Kudos devs, dont change this raid, EVER!

    But no Leap of Faith?!

Congrats! But yes not sure of the long term nature if this is what is required ...

A lot of fun staying on your toes for an hour

Very taxing on resources..... even trying to be conservative.

Amazing raid. I can see us getting more efficient at this but there WILL be pot consumption on epic difficulty. Its long, grueling, requires alot of coordination and nintendo skills.

We tried our best to be resource efficient as that is what we came up with in guild - maximum sustainability to prolong the runs. We actually put off our raids till 6 eastern so we could wait for the all the guildies to get back from work. It worked out well. Big shout out to semy who due to europe time had to go to bed after the first attempt.

If others complete this on epic please post as I would really be interested in seeing just how many can complete it in the coming weeks. Like the guys from aliclan said every completion is an achievement in its own right as it stands right now.

Just like Teth said, Big thanks to Ira and Swez (Elite Raiders).

This raid is very resource intense as everyone else has said. I would say we had an expert strategy led by Teth and we ran each duty to a T. While I can't speak for everyone in the raid, I'm pretty sure all of us were trying to not use any pots. Most of us used close to 20 pots each. Great job once again to all that were there.

The best part of the raid was everyone getting stuck in the crafting device!

Approximately 30 - 40 khyber shards of binding (exquisite), 1 Epic Raid Token, some players had random spirit shards.

Yeah, there is still more than 10x of a challenge in there even if they gave us that rest shrine before.

    What??

And ruin Turbine's most obvious desire to squeeze as much cash out of it's player base?? It is increasingly less and less subtle. I am actually surprised there is not a TP requiring toll gate to open quests, use vendors or shrines in quests!!

EDIT: I apologize for my tiredness impairing control over my cynicism. Devs, the raid was fun, poses a huge and entertaining challenge. Good job, well done. The flagging quests are unfortunately not nearly as entertaining or challenging, though I do like schemes of the enemy. I especially enjoyed the team work and coordination required where the 11th and 12th people really do matter, and it is not one of those raids where Person 1 does A and Person 2 does B and Person 3 does C and the rest of you wait over there.

My first conversation of the day was:

Me: Hello supervisor? I am sorry *cough cough* I am really sick and unable to come to work today. I apologize for the short notice, but I really hoped *cough cough* to be feeling better this morning. Yes. Thank you for your *cough* understanding. Mmhmmm, i should be ok on Wednesday.
The last wave about to drop and it is time for me to go to my second job prompting the next conversation... taken place on the train to work, definitely going to be 45 minutes late.

Um, yes, <partner?> Unfortunately I am going to be about 30 minutes late. Mmhmmm, I am on the train now. I had an emergency substitution work this morning for a sick colleague. It ran a little longer than expected. I apologize for my tardiness but will get there as soon as I can. Yes, I will buy you an apology latte from Starbucks... yes, see you then.

One of the most fun afternoons in a while. We had a MASSIVE 45 second lag spike that came close to wiping us, hanging in the air type of lag. Great job to everyone involved on working for the completion.

And kudos to the devs, thank you for putting engaging and difficult content in the game. More of this please.
