Price point for sixth inv tab

Too high for my tastes. At a lower price point I'd've almost certainly bought one for multiple chars. At 595 TP, I am resenting the price enough to not buy any.

What do others think? Do you feel it's a reasonable price point given other items and exclusivity?

Out of curiousity, I'd like to know exactly what is being purchased here.

Specifically, do you keep the extra inventory tab through TR's?

Inventory space of any kind of probably a cash cow for Turbine - I suspect the price reflects a high demand and good past performance in sales of inventory related product. I'm almost ashamed to admit I'll probably get the 6th tab but only on my main character. Doubt these will see much downward adjustment, maybe wait and hope for a 50% off around holidays...

I hope they allow this to be turned off it is annoying to see it whenever you look at the inventory, and even more annoying if you misclick it while looking for something and then have to deal with the store popping up.

I do wonder if the increased the size of the TR Resurrection Cache to match the increased number of items that might go in there now.

Tr cache has no size limit, just a display limit, yo ucan have any number of items in it but only he first 100 display
also would like to know if anyone has experience of these lasting through TRs or not

The price is fine IMO, I'll be grabbing it on one character now after folks confirmed it works with a TR.

I'm surprised it's not more expensive. It's the same price as character bank +20 slots iirc, and carryall space is definitely more useful than those.

Sure would be nice with a more pricy account-wide option though...

I bought it on my main.....I couldn't help it, I needed the space.

Nice to run a shroud where I don't have to decide what to leave in the chest!

Well well well worth the price IMO, you never lose it per toon after you buy it, and now with loot runs so big a deal for crafting purposes it's really nice to have all that space.

Unfortunately ATM I can't afford this on any of my toons, but I will when given the chance purchase for all if I can.

See, that's the best part about this thing.

I really could live without a 6th tab. But when you TR there's a decent amount of time where you're running 3 or 4 tabs. That extra slot at the point is really really nice!

I think the price is just silly. I would say it's a fair price if it applied account-wide, but it's per character so no thanks... If there's someone THAT desperate for extra bag space more power to them.

As many have noted (one here, some elsewhere) the placement of the button is very very bad for playing. I know why it's there (to encourage people to purchase obviously) but it interferes with playing. No advertising should interfere with the actual mechanics of playing.

If you insist on having the button in the inventory tab, it must not be easy to mis-click. Having it hard-up against the 5th tab is really bad. I'm guessing there are already a number of perma-deathers cursing Turbine because accidentally clicking the button caused their death.

I would suggest a better location (and it could even be bigger) would be above the "Details" expander (which still doesn't retain it's setting across logins since U10, but that's a separate issue).

I would also say that for 595TP it's ridiculously high for a per-character single inventory slot. But then I also think 595TP is a ridiculous amount for a per-character bank slot. I would never buy either at those prices. But I will also never buy a huge bag because it's BtC, not BtA. Making things bought in the DDO store BtC simply reduces my options for playing as it represents large monetary investment in a single character and I'm never sure enough that I want to keep a character to make such a commitment. 100TP would be my limit for permanent BtC purchases from the DDO store.

OTOH I would happily pay 1000TP to buy the 6th slot if it applied to the entire account, or a BtA huge bag.

I also think these and the links in the bank tabs are very tactless. At a minimum they should be disabled for VIP players. Everyone knows how to find it in the store.

If yous think the inventory and bank buttons are bad I wouldn't play LOTRO, there are "OMG GO TO THE STORE AND BUY SOMETHING!!11!one!!11!eleventyone!!1!" buttons everywhere in that game.
