OCD mode for hotbars

In the ui settings please let us have a setting that puts our bards in an orderly fashion on our screen automatically so every time we alt enter for one reason or another we don't have to spend another two minutes straightening our bars from the changing resolution. please please please.

You think you have it bad, I play at 5760x1080 triple widescreen resolution on my home gaming PC and at 1600x900 on my laptop.

Turbine in their infinite wisdom, unlike every other MMO out there, decided to save interface configurations server side rather than client side, so rather than configuring your UI once per computer, I have to change it ever time I alternate.

And bars that arent full have to have the icons offset from the bar above in a chequerboard style and PA Absolutely HAS to be in position 1 on Bar 7 otherwise it bothers me.

Yes please, or at least have a auto-align feature so I don't spend ages trying to line up every bar perfectly down to each pixel (Yes I actually use a ruler to make sure it's aligned, yes I'm weird).

Yes, the hotbar alignment and placement behaviour could use a little more... polish. The game should save the contents of the hotbars server side, and their positions (and indeed even whether they are visible) client side.

I'd also like to see configurable transparency for bits of the UI, so even if you fill half your 15" 800x600 CRT monitor with hot bars, at least you could still see what was going on. Or have I missed that ?

I use a skin called "DDO Lite", applied via the UI settings, and it makes much of those items on screen almost transparent, or at least less blocky...all my characters use it!

Preach it brother as this has been one of the loudest complaints I have about a lack of programming skill from Turbine. I know they can fix it but being low priority is not really an excuse for this since none of the other games, including MMOS, don't do it correctly from the first day I ever played them which is normally in their beta.
