Only 2 months I would think that ESOS is not viable.

Burst weapons are good from 8-12ish

A crafted Holy Burst Silver Falchion Of Greater Lawful Outsider Bane for those Devil bosses on elite raids. Use a Holy silver of lawful outsider bane while you can't get the good one

A bloodstone or marilith chain, preferably epic, but the base item is good anyway.


If you are tanking bosses, Epic Gloves of the Claw, Green steel HP goggles with a damaging guard or sundering ooze. Either the Epic Bracers of the Claw or the Epic Gem of many facets. Use the base Gloves + bracers while you don't get the epic ones.


If you are not tanking, Tharne's Goggles, Epic Charged Gauntlets, and any other 2 epic items from the abishai set.

Kilau, Kyosho or cinder ring + necklace

Ravager, Encrusted or Siberys ring + Belt.

Craft 20% healing amp on a ToD ring those ASAP. The other one can be +2 str or +2 con, I like +2 con better.

Cinder and Siberys rings are only good if you are tanking, and I don't think they stack with each other.



tl;dr: Get the claw set from red fens, it's easy to farm. Craft a good pair of green steel HP goggles. Buy a bloodstone from the AH or trade for one. Craft 20% healing amp on a tod ring - don't be afraid to beg for trophies. After that you can go crazy grinding out epic items.

OK, level 18 is the perfect time to go get the gloves and bracers of the claw and buy a bloodstone

The wiki is fine. Caniflex (incorrect) redirects to Carnifex (correct).

Unless you have it, you should devote all your resources to working towards it (when you are working for DPS items). Even at 18, you can start farming out the base item, which is no gimme.
