What does the new loading screen mean?

Not sure if this new screen would make sense if I had finished the new raids.


On the left is the initial loading screen on Live, on the right is Lamannia's new one. Anybody know what the significance is? Or why it is overlooking the harbor?

First one looks like the white dragon we see in Korthos and eventually The Reaver's refuge quest maybe now that its all about the artificers and Lord of the blades the Dragons have gotten out of dodge to make way for our newest enemy? I dunno my brain is running on fumes, they tend to change the splash screen a lot though I never really read into many minor changes or their significance anymore.

Not sure what that new thing is supposed to be (U12 may answer this). But I assume devs just felt like nerfing the only gold dragon in game

Loading screen was OP so it had to be nerfed.

Actually, the Coin Lords had to sell it to afford Artificers moving in Stormreach.

I think they mean the one in the screenshot. Because some people don't know what white looks like during a sunrise.

And that dragon was a new addition within the last two years as well. I remember asking, "when did that dragon show up?"

Only makes sense that the new loading screen has something relating to House C. And it looks pretty cool too.

there has ALWAYS been a lich in delera's, he's tough as **** to kill at-level too

I think they change the loading screen each update to make sure it is well known that an update happened.

They're changing the back story. Out with the Eberwhatsy and in with Krynn, so all the Dragons had to leave for a bit.

Kear is a gold dragon (Sharn Syndicate chain, Repossession). Granted, he's in humanoid form, but...

Only one I can remember off the top of my head though.

Oh, duh, the spire of Validus. I'd totally forgotten about it. Was attaching it to main Deleras chain for some reason. (haven't ran that in forevs>)

I did notice the Lich in the splash screen like you mentioned, though. Has it always been the Human Necromancer guy, instead? I just remember seeing it and laughing - I like how splash screens still advertise content packs to VIPs.

I know the image has been cropped by the OP - but I think the new airship in the Llama loading screen, the one chock full of House C foreboding-ness, looks really really bad. It would be a much better image without the ship, as it looks like it was just sloppily added without a whole lot of thought to composition or appearance.


Hate the image, but not with enough hate to make a new thread about it. But, since the topic was here...
