Default fvs / monk melee dps

I've finally unlocked favored soul and I would like to make one. My favorite race to play is drow and I was looking at the character planner and I found out that drow fvs can take a feat early that makes short swords their chosen weapon. Then I remembered that ninja spies also use short swords. So I was wondering if the kind people of the forums would help me design a short sword using drow two weapon fighting favored soul / ninja spy. Any help would be appreciated.

That build would only have the initial appearance of synergy. The fact that you'd be giving up 8th and 9th level spells in order to stay centered while using short swords is a bad trade off, to put it mildly.

18 fvs / 2 monk if you want to splash those two.

2 monk gives evasion, 2 feats, extra hp, and wisdom to ac. Don't worry about using stances too much. Just kill everything with your spells and weapons. Don't forget to heal.

I have been using an Elf 18Fvs/2Mnk for quite a while and love the build. I picked Elf instead of drow mainly to take advantage to the Scimitar Line for TWF with IC: Slashing. Critting on a 15-20 is very nice! I know some changes came through with U9 that modified this build, but I still use it, love it and have great DPS. Once you get the Heal spell you do quite good in groups as a Healer/BackupHealer.
