So,
I got haste, blur, displacement. Will probably get a couple more buffs (but maybe not).
My question is:
Is extend worth it on a sorcerer?
My gut feeling is no, but I would rather the opinions of a larger, and more experienced, crowd.

If it works in your build, yes. If you can play just fine without it, then no. It really really depends on how you play.

For some builds it's almost mandatory. Pale Masters, for their aura. Melee focused Divines, for all their short duration buffs. Things like that.
For more caster focused Divines and Sorcs it's nice to have if you can fit it in, but it's by no means necessary so if you can't fit it in it isn't a big deal. In these cases, I usually take it early (level 1 or 3) and swap it out later on.
It just requires you to pay more attention to the timers on spells like haste. As long as you're keeping the basic party buffs going, who cares how many times you cast them?

.
It comes down to personal opinion. I don't see a need for it on a sorc anymore, personally- the only spells you'd want it for are haste, displacement, and rage, which doesn't really seem like enough to justify burning a feat on a rather feat-starved class.
I would say this.
I personally dont think its worth a feat when theres plenty of other cool stuff to get, and my pm only has it for leveling when buffs/haste/aura dont last very long (and I dont understand why people say its worth having for pm auras.. but thats another post/rant). If you absolutely love it, try to fit it in. Some people swear its essential (some people also refuse to level a caster without escew as well though), but common opinion currently seems to be, for sorcs, they dont have enough feats to consider taking extend.
If I was human with an extra feat, I'd take it, but I'm always warforged, so I don't take it. (last life was sorcerer)

Thanks for the replies. I won't be taking extend then.
I never take it. In lower levels theirs much better spells for me to ensure a grps idiocy doesn't wipe everyone. In higher levels the timers already far up enough ya don't need it.
