I'm working on gearing my paladin and am trying to figure out where to fit everything. I was hoping to get a bit of feedback on what I'm thinking so far and perhaps some additional suggestions.
The paladin is a KotC TWF helf with rogue dilettante. Set-wise, I'm aiming for Shintao set on most of the time, switching between Lorinthor's and Ravager depending on the enemy, and I'd like to fit in the three-piece Greater Might of the Abishai set for the Strength bonus.
Goggles - Tharnes' Goggles or Min II HP item
Helm - Epic Helm of Frost
Necklace - Shintao Cord
Trinket - Bloodstone with an Attack Bonus +4 trinket for switching in when needed.
Cloak - Epic Envenomed Cloak
Belt - Lorinthor's Belt/Colethenis' Belt
Gloves - Epic Charged Gauntlets
Boots - switch-in
Bracers - Min II HP item or ?
Ring - Lorinthor's Ring/Ring of the Ravager (probably both with Exceptional Strength)
Ring - Kyosho's Ring (probably with Exceptional Constitution)
Armor - Epic Cavalry Plate slotted with Toughness
The thing that bothers me the most about this setup is the Min II HP item in the Bracers slot. The main thing is that I currently don't have Heavy Fortification slotted elsewhere in this gear plan so I'd not be able to use the slot as a switch-in.
A possible alternative is eClaw set, no GS HP item, and epic Boots of Corrosion, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not to require Boots of Corrosion for getting the Abishai set bonus. That said, the build doesn't have tank-worthy HP and gets several benefits from not having aggro, so I'm not sure that eClaw would be great since I'd probably have to take it off a lot of the time up against raid bosses.
The Tharnes' Goggles seem a bit less useful come U11, so they might also go. But for times when I am getting that Sneak Attack (already have 3d6 in the build), that additional +5 attack/+8 damage would be excellent.
Any other thoughts/advice?
