Equipment examination window

Whenever I place the cursor over an item in my inventory, the examination window of not only the item I want to examine, but also of the similar item which I have eqjuipped, appears. What setting do I change to stop the window of the equipped item from showing?

under UI settings there should be a checkbox that reads something along the lines of "compare items on mouseover". i don't know what exactly it says, because i havn't looked at it in a while, and i'm at work, so i can't check it. perhaps someone can report in with the exact phrasing. but uncheck that box, and it will only show you the item you're looking at, not your equipped items also
