How to Find Kronzek's Cruelty?

I have been running Big Top on elite, using the current "epic style"- going straight to the boneyard from the wall you jump onto at the start. I run up and down the path there, and around the boneyard and I cannot get the rare to spawn after 15 tries. Does it only work if you run there via the traditional/intended route?

It's just an uncommon rare. My group likes to kill a lot more mobs in our epics, and he only appears maybe 10-15% of the time at best.

As an update, I ran this the non-epic way and he started spawning. Moral of the story- you have to go through the gates in the manner the quest is laid out to get Kronzek to spawn.

Did it 5 times on elite this way and he spawned twice. The first time I was stupid and popped the chest solo. The second time I wised up and got 5 other guildies to come in. The sword dropped and I went home happy

If you're really having trouble finding him. Enlist some friends. Have each of them solo to that part. When someone finds him, everyone who didn't find him joins that group. Kill and loot.

You should have what you need in no time doing that.
