Extra action boost 1 and raging

I am not too familiar with barbarians but if I take the action boost 1 enhancement, will this give me an extra rage? If not what does it affect?

Not a barbarian expert at all (don't have one), it affects your Damage Boost (and all other action point boosts), and damage boost is being upgraded next update to 10/15/20/25% (I believe) main hit damage (your weapon dice, + on weapon, strength, etc part) depending on the tier of damage boost. No idea if it affects rages but I'm thinking no.

I believe that extra action boosts do not affect rages, just your action boosts, sprint/Damage boost

There are separate enhancements that increase rages.
