    Default Better idea for Runearms!!!

    Why? why? why? are runearms ranged when the main weapon of artificers is a ranged weapon?
    I say make the runearms blast a nice AOE spell!!! for instance....
    snowball swarm for the runearm with ice
    Forceburst for force
    meteor swarm for fire...
    Sunburst for light and so on....You get the picture.
    they could even blast hold monster mass or charm monster mass or mass harm or something way more efective than
    the single or even multiple shot that they do now. which is not very impressive in my opinion.
    it could even emit mass reconstruct or mass heal.....
    All im saying is it is redundancy to have the runearm charging and blasting only to shoot and miss or do minimal damage when it would be way more efective to have an AOE spell at your disposal...I love the fact that that the runearms add a few points to my repeater which is a Flamingburst heavy repaeting crossbow of puregood so a few points of force is an awesome thing.....just saying I see room for improvement

    some of them are AoE attacks (like the one from tangleroot, but does less damage, or the trial by fire arm from attack on stormreach)

    Agreed. The STK electric ball one can hit multiple guys along its path. If I can get it to pass through a guy, it usually strikes them twice. I find it much easier to hit guys with that one versus the light spirals from the sanctuary chain (or whatever the lower level than Delera's one is called, the wraith daughter one). I only got my artificer up to lvl 8 so I haven't tried the higher level ones, but several of those sound like AoE effects when charged up.

    I will say that a PBAoE (AoE centered on yourself) would be a nice addition. Maybe a force burst wave dealie like the golems in the Titan pre-raid on the blue side. It would also be nice if some of them gave up some damage for additional effects, like stunning/slowing/stat penalties/exhaustion/blindness/etc/etc/etc.
