3 past lifes FVS+ 3 past life wizzy+????
3 past lifes FVS+ 3 past life wizzy+????
3 wiz (+6 spell pen, and pl wiz: +1 dc)
3 sorc (+3 evocation, 60 sp)
3 fvs (+3 spell pen, 60 sp)
3 cleric (+3 conjuration)
1 bard (pl bard: +1 enchantment)
As far as I can see.. maybe 3 x barb for 60 hp
edit: Artificer might have something good too, but I haven't seen that past life feat set.
Don't do it dude. You'll just end up destroying your fun and quitting the game. Only a very small percentage of the gaming population has the fortitude to pull this off and still have any legitimate zest for the game.
If you don't believe me, go to the store and buy 500 bananas. Eat them. Come back and tell us how you feel about bananas.
My guess for a maxed out free past life feat Wiz would probably be:
3 Artificer for +3 UMD
3 Barbarian for 30 HP
1 (or 3) Bard for +2 (or +6) save vs enchantment
3 Cleric for +3 Conjuration DC
3 FvS for +3 Spell Pen and 60 SP
1 Fighter for completionist
1 Monk for completionist
3 Paladin for 15% Positive healing (maybe only 1 past life if Pale Master)
3 Ranger for +6 elemental resist
3 Rogue for +6 save vs traps
3 Sorcerer for +3 Evocation DC and 60 SP
3 Wizard for +6 Spell Pen and Wand DC
...that would probably be the max for any pure Wizard to benefit from Past Lives and gaining Completionist
Well, if we're talking purely theoretically, it would be 3 of each:
For Active benefits - FvS, Sorc, Wiz, Cleric (do wizards use any conjuration?)
Those would give DC/spell pen/sp benefits.
For Buff benefits - Barb (hp), Artificer (save uses for wands), Pally (useful if Archmage, not so much for PM), Ranger (+6 to all elemental resists), rog and bard for saves).
That's a lot of work for those benefits, but there you have it. The best beneficial past life layout for a Wiz. (Could do one each of fighter and monk to get completionist in there for the +2 to con and int.)
Main toons: Kessem (Caster), Grubbly (Melee)
Proud Noob of Band of Gypsys on Khyber.
Past Life: Artificer You were an artificer in a past life. You occasionally find yourself tinkering with your gear. Each time you acquire this feat you gain a stacking +1 bonus to all Intelligence based skills and Use Magic Device. This feat can be stacked up to three times.
Past Life: Student of Artificer You recall more about your past life as an artificer. When you use a rod, staff, or wand, you have a 15% chance to retain essence and not expend a charge, and can produce an Enchant Armor or Enchant Weapons effect a total of ten times per rest. (Activate this artificer ability to increase the Enhancement Bonus of your target's currently equipped weapons or shields by 1, or to increase the Enhancement Bonus of your target's currently equipped armor by 1. An item can have only one temporary item enchantment at a time.)
'Web' Totted arround as the most universal used CC spell in a wizard's spell book is Conjuration.
Web and Trap the Soul are two very solid conjuration spells
Only 1 wizard past life is truely needed, though a second would free another feat which is also great.
I'm going for completionist sorcerer I have 3xcleric past life. I own a +4 charisma tome and such. if you're going for an ultimate plan i suggest to round yourself with some of these precious tomes like a +4 intellect. Be ready to pay it off somebody in a raid.
So let's go by logic... what could be you're ultimate past lives as a wizzards.
3xFVS spell pen and more sp...
3xSorcerer +3 Evo DC and SP again!
3xCleric +3 Conj DC, mainly to make godly webs...
3xWizzy +6 spell pen
For casterish purpose. On top of that we can add completionist so 1xlife of each others is needed.
But you also wanna be unkillable
Add 3xbarbs life... you always need hit points.
I enjoy my grinding though and I learned alot on some classes I never played before, but as it been stated it's not for everybody. So you might want your sanity going 1st before going into the insanity
Going through the other caster lives isn't that bad. The trick is to make sure each build is sufficiently different to retain your interest, and to not get sucked into playing a "primary healer" on the divine lives. That said, my main is REALLY looking forward to getting back to being a wizard after only a single round of the other lives.
