Question barb past life and warchanter

does warchanter give you an extra rage on top of the barbarian past life feat? Just kinda wondering if it worked that way. Not that it's super important but I figured it should if it doesn't, not sure if this was specifically designed to only work with a multiclass or not.

No answer on this eh? Not surprising, I doubt this is something people are really shooting for tbh.

i cant say i tested it but id say its doubtful.

i bet it only goes for real rages you see in the feat panel and you get with
    the real barbarian levels.

the past life feat isnt really an active feat its a sub feat of the active barbarian life feat

i read in other posts you cant enhance it with ap enh also.. so yea..

    I'm interested, too.

I asked this question in the thread where the change of the PL feat was announced, but either noone answered me, or I did not see the answer.

You recall more about your past life as a barbarian. You gain +1 hit point per character level, have +2 to your Intimidate skill and can enter a barbarian rage once per rest. (Activate this barbarian ability to enter a bloodthirsty frenzy, granting you a +4 bonus to Strength and Constitution, a +2 Morale bonus to Will saves, and a -2 penalty to AC. When the rage ends, however, you will lose the hit points granted to you by increased Constitution and become fatigued. Your rage will last for 30 seconds.)

can enter a barbarian rage once per rest.

Bard Warchanter I: Passive Benefit: your studies into war have granted you a +2 bonus to your Intimidate skill. Your Inspire Courage song gains an additional +1 to attack rolls, +2 to damage rolls, and +1 to fear saves. If you possess the Barbarian Rage ability, you gain +1 use per rest. Active Benefit: expend one Bard song to gain the Ironskin Chant song, which improves the entire party's Damage Reduction.

If you possess the Barbarian Rage ability

Hmm. Is the PLF rage an ability?

Sorry cant do the coloured writing thing

My warchanter with Barb past life has 4 rages total at present plus the crappy clickie. My build is 16 Bard/2 Ftr/2 Barb. The way I ready the new past life feat is it will add an additional rage, but the extra strength and duration are being significantly nerfed. IMO, the pally past life feat seems a better alternative now for warchanters.

I think the main advantage now (U11) is it opens up racial toughness enhancements. Anyone with PL Barb can use it to replace toughness. It's possible I am mistaken from what I read awhile back but I think that is the case anyway.

The current PL feat does not grant the Barbarian rage ability. Nor does it grant additional uses of it if you have it.

The upcoming new barb PL feat:
Grants +1 use of bbn rage IF you have barbarian rage ability already. If not, this part does nothing. And I tested this to stack without other sources of + rage, and they aall stacked: extra rage, berserker set. I don't have a character with warchanter to test, but based on how its coded, and Eladrins reply to my question about this id say 90% chance of yes.

    What else it does:
+20 HP (regardless of char lvl)
unlocks class and racial toughness enhancements

Useless clicky, 30 seconds effect similar to rage, but not quite.

Did they remove the +2 Intimidate?
