    Default Guild Bank

    Seriously, its time.

First, Fix the guilds ranking system for custom ranks within said guild. Second, Implement a guild bank system with a withdraw/day system depending on your rank within the guild.

Make a real bank tab accessible though the Kundarak banks, or add it to the guildship with a banking officer only accessible to guildees, give a 40 slot general bank tab with additional sets of 20 available though the DDO store.

    Withdraw system: Ex/

    Lead: No Limitations
    Successor: 10/day
    Officer: 5/day
    Member: 1/day

A Platinum system would also be very nice, but seeing as we currently do not have a personal bank for platinum I do not see this happening.

    Along with this Suggestion:

Implement Bind to guild shards for the crafting system, with a skill rank below unbound shards but higher than BTC shards, the cap for making them would still be limited to the cap of unbound shards, but would be trade-able though the guild bank system.

    Why?
To encourage guilds to designate a guild crafter to level up their crafting though guild contributions. Certain guild levels would be required to craft the BTG shards. You could even add shards that would add guild augment slots for a certain amount of guild xp.

Once these shards are crafted onto weapons they will auto BTC

it would be nice to have some kind of guild bank that was worth anything. i dont know how much more coding they would have to do but bigger guild chests and being able to put plat would be a start. maybe they can make bags with "bind to guild" on them. that might work
i find myself and others saying "glad im not paying for this ****" vip from ftp beta till 10.9.2012 fix it...fix it Now!

Guild bank? Bad idea, for all the same reasons a guild chest is a bad idea.

    Guild bank != guild chest

One is good, the other is bad.

One can be managed, the other is an open box with a big sign saying "Loot me".

If it is implemented correctly it is a good idea, what you suggest is if were implemented poorly... As the guild chest was.

I so agree with you on a lot of things and would love to add to what you stated.
Last but least I do think that DDO.COM should take a lesson from LOTOR.COM there Crafting is the best that I have seen and Id also like to have some of the same system like thy do in the open places like out in the sands you should be able to see others.

Indeed it is very hard to maintain a guild chest when it is a guild that mass recruit from korthos, more personal guild, and experienced, actually use the chest.

    story time:

I was in one guild and set up a guild bank. asked everyone to send their unwanted items to my 3 bank toons.

I set up a basic website (im not very computer savy lol) one of those freebie ones, link it too the guild site and got underway.

was a terrible idea! the guild liked the gesture, promoted me to officer. i had been there for 18 months or so, we came over from the euro servers.

Anyhow... problems started from the word go. the guildies were PROPER generous and I was swamped in stuff.

I had to go into each bank toon, go through their items list them all on paper, then enter all that on the web site. within days my toons were full, inc bank space, so i zerged them through some coin loed favour. All the while sorting, shifting and logging all the loot they were given.

Then you had cataloguing and destroying. Firstly I was/ am a little paranoid. so to avoid a potential situation I kept a log of who sent exactly what items to me when. Also, I had to decide not to keep alot of things... low level items, twink gear and the decent stuff is fine and good but with limited space you only need so many x y's of z.

It was probably my poor ability to do the job properly, not for the want of trying but no doubt i made it alot harder for myself then it could/ should of been but.... end result i left the guild for a couple of reasons but the extra "work" i had given myself had become a chore really taking away from my game time.

TL: DR /signed for a guild bank as it could save alot of work, maybe have guild members, leaders or officers able to be tagged as designated bankers and they have access.
