Best sets for dark monk?

I'm a level 11 monk and wanted to see what different sets I should be looking to get.
I'm a dark monk who wants to solo if I have to.

I have:
Might of the Abishai - love the gloves
Vulkoor's Might - no clue what the poison does...
Siren's Ward

Also, what items would beat out the damage from the charged gloves? I'm wondering when I should change it out.

The wrath of sora kell set is rather nice, it comes out of the FTP lordsmarch series chain. It is gloves, helm and ring that give +5 to str, wis and cha respectively, or +6 if you upgrade them. The set gives +2 to hit and damage. You should also look for the garments of equilibrium which come from the second (PTP) lordsmarch chain. I forget the names of these two chains, sorry.

I heard the sora kell set is broken before, did they fix this? Also I will have to think about getting rid of the chrono gloves, the vorpal action is very awesome.

Grab the claw set from red fens, not for at level, but to epic at 20: +4 damage, +20% threat, +30% healing, +2 exc CON, and heavy fort to free up your armor slot.

Well, as a dark monk, you should be either STR/CON, and expecting to tank occasionally, or DEX/WIS, in which case the extra threat probably won't matter.

@ lvl 20 I still use my Charged Gauntlets and Jidz Tet'ka bracers.

I like the spiked gloves from the last 5year event. It adds 1d4 damage for every attack. I build one from each level for my monk.

I think either sora kell and charged gauntlets are good. It depends on what other equipment you have.

Tharnes googles are also very usefull (from VOD). Jidz-Tetka is a bracer every monk should have, even if using it just in some cases.

Playing a dark monk I like to use the madstone boots, since I rarely use dark monk finishers. If you like using them, maybe a better choice is the Boots of Innocent (I use them in light monks).

I use the sora kell at 20, at least until I build out some epic gear

+2 to-hit and damage vs 10d6 on a 20: Seems to favor sora kell imho

That reminds me... Teraza's perfect sight for TS and +6 wisdom is good until you get Minos Legens. And I used it until I got Tharnes (both are ML13).

I don't even get minos any more; I use teraza's until I get tod rings, GoE for fort, and tharak bracelet for toughness.

I just use Minus for Hevay Fort. Thats cause I like using my 10%/20% heal amp DT and jidz for another 25% heal amp. Since I solo a lot (or play only with hirelings) a lot of heal amp makes a big diference for me.

I don't even get minos any more; I use teraza's until I get tod rings, GoE for fort, and tharak bracelet for toughness.

I used to swap them out. Not all mobs need TS so I used to swap Minos in for the xtra HP. Also - OP was looking for ideas at lvl... I left out all the nice accessories you get in Amrath. Gotta get 'em all!

Stopped wearing GoE after I got 2 guards on my DT armor.
