Default Need help to get started (light monk)

I want to make a light monk (unarmed), however, I just don't know for sure what's the best way to distribute my points.

    I have access to a 32-point build.

Also I'm thinking about rolling halfling, are there any thoughts about this?

    Hello Rockan Robin.

Seems like this is the build for you.

It was suggested to me, when I went to make my own HElf TR monk, to use something like 14/15/16/8/14/8. With 34 points I did 16/15/16/8/14/8 and yours is 32... Keep dex at 15 and move the 14's and the 16 around to suit your needs. I added 1 lvl up into dex and the other 4 into str.

You'll need 18 in an ability to get its grand stance. Also dex needs to be 17 to open up GTWF feat.

Martens and TeenyTiny are also good build examples. My sig links to my build - which used these two (as well as research into Rockan, Horcrux and Metaru).

With HElf you have 2 good dillys: cleric and rogue. Figure out how you want to play and select one.

A quick search and you'll find other light monk posts you can study.
    Stay Hasted My Friend.

Here's a link to my monk build: LINK

The discussion is pretty good in that thread as well, many experienced monks gave good advice. There are actually two builds there, feel free to compare and contrast

You'll actually also want to check out the list of known handwraps bugs... let's see if I can find the link, hang on.... Here it is
