    Default question about arcane archer

Hello , i checked the guide about the arcane archer and than choosed to use the elf race. Now, there are two differents arcane archer enchantments, i'll probably use the elven's one because give +20 spell points but what about the other following enchantmens? I don't see any differences, just the one for elf only are gave two lvls later (exemple: slaying arrow- AA ranger has it at lvl 18, AA elvens at lvl 20). Is there anything that i miss? Are the elven's versions more powerful for some unwrited reason?

    Thanks

They are the same. It is set up so any elf (even a bard like my build) can be AA, but must wait until level 20 to get the full bonuses. If you are going to 18 levels of ranger, take the ranger AA.

Even the basic enchantment? (the one that in elven's version give +20 spell points, it's not so ba as bonus and can be worth the wait). Is it good go for ranger AA or it's a bad choice? Thanks

    infiniteblusky,

Ranger AA and Elven AA are the same enhancement (http://ddowiki.com/page/Elf_Arcane_Archer_enhancements). They give exactly the same benefits. The only diference they have is Ranger AA enhancements can be taken at 2 levels lower than elven AA. If you are going full Ranger, you should choose Ranger AA, so you can get AA enhancements early (first at level 6th and last at 18th). Elven AA is only good to non full ranger characters to be AA. If they are elven or half-elven they can pick elven AA (and get the so dreamed Slaying Arrow, not at lvl 18th as a ranger, but at 20th).

Maybe the +20 sp ypu are talking about is from Elven Arcanum, one of the possible pre-requisites to became a AA. If so, be carefull because you will need at least one level of wizard in order to get that (http://ddowiki.com/page/Elven_Arcanum).

    Hope it helps.
