Well seeing as no VIP is getting access to artificer for the first few months without buying it i suggest some form of TP point back.
When we buy the artificer at the release of mod 11 we pay standard store price for it, then when the favour is released that allows us to earn the artificer for free for gain back a portion of the TP that it cost to buy it, say 50%.
this would show a small amount of consideration to VIP's.

This is probably the most reasonable post I've seen on this subject. Good idea!
It would allow Turbine to make real money on early sales of the class and "reward" the VIPs who bought it.

This doesn't make sense to me and would set a bad precedent for future Favor Rewards.
If they did it for Artificer, why wouldn't they do it for all of the other Favor Rewards in the game?
Right now, no one gets special discounts in the DDO Store. We all pay the same. Changing that policy would be a major shift in their system. It's a bad idea. There is enough Premium vs VIP drama as is. They need to stop pitting them against one another.
Favor content is Account neutral. It "favors" no one. That is not a problem that needs to be "fixed."
