what starting stats would you take on a 32 point first life build? and when would you grab your monk levels?

It is really tight on 32pt. Probably drop cha by 2, and drop con by 1 to raise dex to 15 since you wont have a +3 dex tome. Remember that ALL +3/+4 tomes help this build with more hp, or more ac by being able to start with 9int instead of 11 for example. The real min/maxing while leveling can gimp you a bit until capped, or just LR once you have tomes and gear in place. This will get at least another 1 or 2 TR's, just not sure when.

You can get tempest from the human tree? yeah why even bother with drow then .

Hopefully, as that is what seems to be planned for the enhancement changes.

I also can make a ravens sight googles epic to wear for the +2 wisdom and +4 to hit with gem and claw set. Also epic demon scale armour, i was thinking to wear it while shadow tanking and in epic if we have a bard as my epic fighting leathers would be redundent.

how often do you find yourself using the loh? with the limmited uses its purely a emergency heal right? and the cure serious spell is more important and standard heal, with scrolls for top ups between fights?

Mostly, half the time I LoH a healer or arcane or DPS while tanking. 4 or 5 uses of it is quite powerful. A few LoH is all you would need in Sins for example, as long as you have some form of DR for grazing hits.

It probably has in many ways.

The AC change made 95 ac a meaningful source of damage mitigation, but not the nigh invicible mark against elite horoth as it had been.

Some AC was lost due to the dodge change - many items and feats now add to your dodge chance, not to your AC. Cf. here. Dodge is a viable source of damage mitigation, in particular if you can manage to get to the cap of 25%.
A reasonable part of a monk's dodge comes from being centered - this is why Khopeshes are not too great atm, but maybe the enhancement revamp can offer some options.

Also, another source of damage mitigation, PRR, is rather hard to get on this build if you aim for being centered: PRR is granted if you wear actual armor (not a good idea due to wis to AC bonus), a shield (not a good idea due to defensive centeredness), or in mountain stance, which needs a ki weapon and not a khopesh.

I have a 18/2 KotC pally as well (not focused on AC pre u14, though), and I am thinking really hard which way to go:
A tanky DoS who wears light armor and can go either TWF or Khopesh and Tower Shield, or
A more offensive KotC who wears cloth, and uses Handwraps.

Looking at the epic destinies, there are not too many benefits of unyielding sentinel for the latter style, imho.

I haven't decided on anything for Flodur yet, but maybe someone else can share his or her wisdom on the topic of this kind of build.

The build is dead sad to say. With nothing but certain EE raids needing a full tank build, I TR'd to a 18/2 Kensei/rogue.

Probably still work as a light armour build - but I prefer 14/4Fighter/2Monk split to get enough feats in order to still be useful.

I've had mine parked since the changes. I have way too many toons to keep up anyways. Once the enhancement changes come out I will probably TR her. There's to wishful thinking! ....just another "broken" build.....

Bah is this build or type of build really totally dead? been gone since may might be comming back soon, got to tr my main melee into something, i got to keep it 2wf with khopeshes, would like something that has self heals off the blue bar and a martial class mainly for past life feat, any suggestions?
