remember when kate had "PLANS" for druids? that was several years ago and i still dont see druids. and my favorite from the big guy "you can take paralizing off something and put it on something else" yeah right thats how it works alright.

I wasn't around for the druids fiasco, but I've been harping on the lack of paralyzing as a way to call for more recipes and things to do with crafting.

this is not even fair to the people who pay you a monthly fee for VIP we should get to play them till update 12 as a perk for forking out cash since this game went live

Entirely unacceptable have them code it for 3000 favor unlocks for till you release enough cannith favor to use it as your basis for the unlock.

Touting silver flame pots as a great way for people to self heal and all you need is favor to unlock while only necro 1and 2 are the max silver flame favor you can get would be on par with this debacle.

New items use yugo pots for increased benefits via favor unlock!!!!! enough favor to unlock is due out in 2013 but for now buy them in the store!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that most of us VIPs don't have an issue with Artificers being a buy/unlock class like FVS. What we have a problem with is that we can't unlock them for several months when U12 is released.

We were sold a subscription that says that we will always have the option of playing any class, either because they were included in the subscription (Monk) or a favor unlock (Favored Soul). Now, what we were sold is no longer applicable. For the foreseeable future, the only way to get to play an Artificer is to buy it.

That's not what I signed up for. That's not what I'm paying you for. I feel betrayed.

Up until this point, I had great experiences with Turbine, both in DDO and Asheron's Call. Now, I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.

Thank you for confirmation that Turbine is indeed violating their advertised benefits of being a monthly subscriber.

This will be one more talking point I can use to convince people to go premium and save money long term.

Now I will get to say that heck you don't even know that you will actually get races, classes, and adventure packs when they come out unless you put down the same cash you would have to if you were a premium player.

Yep and considering there is a class that many have been asking for since 06 that they are working (allegedly) on getting out in the future I can really see how Artificers as a temporary pay to play class can open up the raw numbers they need to Justify a fully pay to play class IE Druids.

The bad thing is they think just because they opened our doors with the new business model that the pool of people with intelligence lessened or something. Sorry folks but us nerds are still around playing and we notices when you try to pull fast ones on us especially when it comes to number crunching and business.

I have close to 4000 TP's from my 500 a month, and I still wont be spending them on an artificier, just because of how crappy your policies are.

It's not what I signed up for either. Now, for the first time since VIP and Premium started, there is something in game that I cannot get either freely or with favor.

Yes, but there were numerous posts that could've been replied to that would address the actual issues.

Fortunately, we did get an actual reply. It's thoroughly disappointing, but it's something.

Some acknowledgement that they understand that they are indeed breaking their prior promises to VIPs, and putting good faith effort into mitigating any resulting damage, would certainly be nice.

A reversal would, of course, be even better.

It may be...god only knows Lucas is a PITA and I may stay F2P for a lil while, but I wont be spending any more money on this game. I have enough TP's to buy any adventure pack to hang out with my buddies until something else comes along.

Will the incorrect verbiage on the VIP page be corrected to reflect the reduction in VIP privileges?

Being a VIP means you have access to all adventure packs, races and classes** during the course of your subscription.

This should honestly be corrected to remove classes period. It's patently false until U12 is available. Failing that, you could at least change the following section.

**The Drow race and Favoured Soul class are available to VIPs through game-play or through purchase at the DDO Store. Once acquired through game-play, the race or class is available for any new character or true reincarnated character on the same server.

Obviously Artificers would need added but it would need to be added in a convoluted fashion such as this:

The Artificer class is available through purchase in the DDO Store only until the next update at which time it will be available to all purchase plans through game-play as well. If these changes or something similar are not made with the release of U11 I would assume that would be a legal case of false advertising though I'm certainly not a lawyer.

Monk (grazing hits was a huge nerf) -> FvS released same day -> Artificers (FvS recieving a wing nerf and a change to their PrE debuff the same day)
