Why do armor recipes stop at 5 and natural armor at 3?
If this is as far as they will go why bother including them at all?
Black widow bracers give armor bonus 4 and are given away as part of veteran status or earnable in WW.
AC 5 bracers show up in level 7 quests.
Resists max at the normal 5 max why not armor?

there are so many issued with AC atm this doesn't even hit the radar imo, they stop soon because getting AC is all about a bunch of small increases Gear wise, and your numbers are skew.
you can get natural armor bonus +5 on Epic Chimera's Crown
you can get +8 armor bonus from armored bracers or Epic Jidz Tetka

I think the philosophy was to take every bonus that existed on non-Epic items and throw them in the crafting system, hence why Attack bonus goes from 2 (Arrowhead et al) to 4 (Storm) without a 3. Similarly, Natural armor only goes up to 3 on non-epic items.
That said, it would seem like there would be at least a 6 armor shard. Maybe it's just past the current cap (for no apparent reason)?
