Currently, the best AH buyout is 180,000 although I've been seeing these up on the AH for up to 1,000,000 plat! I'm guessing they don't sell. I've also seen them up at 10,000 plat and I know they sold, because I bought them... It's hard to say what they're "worth", but it's probably best to put it in context.

They're currently used for bound Holy Burst shards, and nothing else. Given the middling-to-high essence cost of these shards (equivalent to 59.4 Greater Good essences) and the fact that they already require a Purified Eberron Dragonshard fragment, I can't see many people adding 100,000 platinum to the total and still thinking it's worth making compared to Holy (31 greaters, no onerous ingredients), particularly on x2 crit weapons. Some will think it's worth an extra 100k, for sure, but they'll be in the minority.

10k extra though? Sure. I'll take two, and a portion of fries.

I can't see *anyone* being crazy enough to spend an extra 1,000,000 to get Holy Burst over Holy, but I could imagine a lot of people being willing to spend, say, 20k... And there'll be a sliding scale of people who'd be prepared to pay more, I have no doubt, up to some unspecified upper limit. I believe that with U11, Holy Burst will be available unbound (at great cost) and these marks may therefore become more desirable... or they may not. I still don't think they'll really be worth 100k though, and certainly not 1,000,000, when you consider the benefit accrued from using them; they give you one to three dice of extra damage on a crit over and above Holy, but the unbound cost of Holy Burst is already going to be very high indeed and may well prove Just Not Worth It.

Bear in mind, it's not just the base shard that makes crafted items cost more, it's the additional Shards of Potential...
