    It was going to look something like this, if I ever actually rolled it. And this is assuming that Mech2 and Insightful Damage actually stack. They currently do not. Eladrin made a claim that they would, but then stated that this might have been in a different build. If they don't, then I probably won't make him at all.

    Bit of a noob question, but is Mech 2 worth it or would AP be better spent elsewhere.

    You seem to have ended up with the same AP outcome in regards to halfling as a race choice as I did with my build.

    I tend to feel that if you can't efficiently fit in Guile IV that you're better off with helf/human for versatility: damage IV (this is particularly true on the 12+ rogue build which has access to extra action boost).

    I worked out with my basic attempts at maths that a 7 art / 7 rogue / 6 DWS build would be less than 5% DPS behind a 13 rogue / 6 arti against 0 fort, non-FEs but would be in front against most end game raid bosses which is where DPS matters, imo.

    What we really need to work out is what crossbow RoF is going to go to live ... (for comparing TWF'ing DPS vs crossbow).

    Note that Rogue gives also gives access to a Damage Boost.
    How efficient is Haste Boost when using repeaters? Would it possibly be viable to activate the damage boost and not the haste boost, on a non-human race?

    I'd rather spend the APs elsewhere. Mech2's biggest benefit is the proficiency which is granted by the Arti levels anyway.

    I'd say take the second level of proficiency anyways. It offers some extra skills and resist for 2 ap. Keep the rogue levels though for some fairly decent sneak attack damage and rogue special feats.

    Also personally I'd go rog13/arty7. You get the level for insightful damage and the extra sneak attack damage. Win-win.

    At the moment I believe that haste boost isn't affecting crossbow RoF but the RoF is all messed up on Lamannia so we'll have to wait until it goes to live to know for sure.

    The option for a human would be to keep damage boost active continuously by switching between damage boost and versatility: damage. Alternatively, you can combine haste boost and versatility: damage for better burst damage. With extra action boost II you should be able to maintain +25% damage boost for almost 5 minutes on a human/helf.

    Y'know, I was talking to a buddy earlier, and if they aren't going to be fixing the stacking bit, for a rogue-primary split, there's also
    Rogue Thief-Acrobat II
    Usage: Passive
    Cost: 2 action points
    Progression: 42 action points
    Requires All of: Rogue Dexterity III, Rogue Thief-Acrobat I
    Available to Rogue class level 12
    Grants an additional +2 bonus to Balance, Jump, and Tumble skills, increases your movement rate by 10%, and 2 extra uses per rest of Uncanny Dodge. Also grants a greater +10% (for a total of 20%) Competence bonus to attack speed with staves and complete immunity to knockdown effects and slippery surfaces.
    Same damage output, except from a spell instead of saving you sp from the inherent, quicker dodging, and no getting tripped up (or held, if forged). Could even use the int for to-hit lower level spell on staves for up close and personal.

    I wouldn't roll any deep rogue / arti multiclasses until they made mechanic and insightful damage stack which might be never really.
    I'd also drop weapon finesse, rapid shot and augment summoning and take the halfling dragonmarks becasue they offer pretty nice self healing.
