    Default Chrono Normal loot runs

I'm having a very hard time trying to understand what concepts are difficult to grasp for seemingly intelligent people, in this LFM ad:

Chrono Normal loot run. Keep together. Levels 5-20

I had put it together for a fellow guildie who farmed the points for Devil Assault and was **** happy to run it at last. I talked about Voltron / Megazord. About all the chests to be had. About the end rewards.

What started out as a nice run with decent people turned out to be my worst run, and made me extremely dissapointed with my fellow Argonnessener. People running all over the place. Clerics who did not heal. One random guy barking orders over voicechat, and another insulting him after every sentence. Other newbs who kept running in circle around the tent. At this point nobody was reading party chat or listening to anything being said, except for the WHO'S GOT THE ****ING KEY?! being repeated over and over. This was not a BYOH run. This was not a ZERG run. Everyone knew we were going for all optionals. It's a LOOT run, so we should try to get LOOT.

Eventually it ended, and some level 18 started complaining about the crappy loot (no one complained about the missing chests, though), and how it was a ******** noob-run. Told him not everyone had done it before, that everyone started somewhere, that not every single player happens to be a 3rd TR twinked up the wazoo. I asked him why he joined a level 6 normal chrono loot run if everything to be had was just useless ****.

I was told to "calm down, maggot".

So here's my message for the so-called "veterans": CHILL OUT. Not everyone is twinked to hell. Not everyone has everything. Not everyone has run raids before. Not everyone knows Chrono like the back of their hands. RTFLFM. If it doesn't say zerg, don't zerg. If it doesn't say BYOH, don't ***** because you're asked to heal.

And finally, joining a low-level raid and acting like you own the place, like you're better than the other folks and calling people "maggots" and telling them to "suck your [bodily parts]" doesn't make you better. It makes you look like the proper arse you are.

Hi...I haven't been playing as long as some people. But I do have some decently geared toons. I would like to kindly remind you that because someone could be called a "vet" does not mean they are of that same personality.

I could probably take 2 guesses as to what guild that toon was from...and I'm confident my first guess would hit the nail on the head.

That said, if I join a chrono loot run on my sorc, I'll probably stay a bit ahead and take out the most threatening targets myself to save time. However I would announce my intentions beforehand.

OTOH, if they are a triple TR arcane...then why are they joining a lvl 6 raid pug...I know it's really really hard to solo it on a caster. I mean, seriously, it is just insanely difficult...not like the DoTs annihilate the bosses in a matter of seconds. Maybe they weren't a vet, and just a noob that tr'ed a few times.

Protip: Just because someone made it to 20 and got a heart of wood to TR, doesn't mean they are anything but a noob that has been playing longer than the first lifers in the party.
