I tend to use this to watch/look for recent earthquakes.

Holy cow, I found my truck parked on the side of the road with this map. That's some detail, I'd guess that they're about 8 - 10 weeks old.

I've been in three major quakes (all over 6+) so I can sympathize with people who have never experienced one. The worst was the '89 Loma Prieta quake; you know, the one that caused a partial collapse of the Bay Bridge, dropped a freeway section on hundreds of cars and stopped the World Series for a few days. I was working in a liquor store at the time and bottles started flying off of the shelves and showering me with glass. Luckily, there was a sturdy door jamb nearby and I rode it out. Funny thing was, we were the only building in our part of town that still had power afterward and after about an hour and a half of cleaning up all the glass and booze we opened up again and had the best day of business in the store's history. People were pretty shaken up and we had lines out the door!

    I was in the shroud.

At first I though it was construction across the street but when I took of my headphones I heard no construction.

Then I thought the demon that was possessing my bed had returned but the room wasn't abnormally cold and the walls weren't bleeding.

Then someone said over voice chat that they were in DE and having an earthquake and I was like "Ah ha".

How did you enjoy the latest aftershock that occured at 1:08AM? Looks to be about the same position and depth too. Just a 4.5 instead of a 5.8.

Turbine, Boston is right in the path of the Hurricane coming up the East Coast, is it not? That should be interesting... >.>

AFAIK, most Server Farms are kept underground or in concrete buildings.

so i wouldn't be too worried

I'm not worried about the servers as much as I'm worried about people like Jerry. XD Who knows what that crazy guy plans on doing? I can see him standing outside Turbine dressed as Gandolf yelling "You Shall Not Pass!". Someone better lock him away with the server. XD

The problem with keeping it underground is that if a leak springs, or if the floodwaters pour in, guess what? Those servers are gonna drown and electrocute themselves. I don't care if it happens to Khyber, but...even if it hit a insignificent server like Wayfinder, I would be quite disappointed. And believe me, if they had water pipes flooding parts of the pentagon, its possible it could happen to Turbine.
