New player looking for active guild - Thelanis or other

Hello I am new to DDO, playing on the Thelanis server but willing to move since I just started it is not a big deal

I am looking for a active guild with helpful members that can answer some questions about character progression and maybe do dungeons WITHOUT RUSHING all the way to the end and blowing through things. Taking time to explain the dungeons to a guy that has not run them a zillion times

My play times are 6pm till about 10pm Central Standard Time USA most weeknights, and during the days on Sundays

Do guilds even check these forums or are guilds not that popular in this game anymore?

It kinda depends on the style of play you're looking for. I'm building a permadeath guild on Ghallanda, but most people seem turned off by the idea of playing that way, so I'm not going to run around spamming people with an invitation, y'know?

This forum is pretty dead... You'd get more responses in Thelanis Guilds. That said, most guilds recruit in game and very rarely on the forums.
