Default Help with pure dps fighter

I would appreciate anyone pointing me in the direction of a good 32 pt fighter build that is self sufficient and has high dps. I'm thinking of going warforged as well. Thanks in advance

Pure DPS does not equal self sufficient.

Pure DPS means maximizing DPS and strapping a cleric to your back.

You could always drink SF pots i suppose.

I would like to find a balance, and be able to solo alot of stuff but remain at the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to dps.

Ask better questions man, and you'll get better answers. Took me 20 seconds to look that link up. Have fun.

That is a dwarf tank build and all the wf builds I have found are from like 2009. I just wanted to see if there was a current build out there for a good dps wf fighter, but ty for your time.

OP: it would help if you defined what you meant by "self-sufficient" - UMD? Self-healing? Trap skills? Do you want to be self-sufficient right away or later in your build? Also, as Maxallu says, you give up DPS to be self-sufficient on any build. A WF FvS is pretty self-sufficient, but it won't have the DPS of a pure Kensai.

Go human. They'll have a lot of healing amp, and with U11 they'll have the highest DPS (by far) of any of the races.

    U11 HElf > Human

eSoS HOrc > both (with Artificar buffs)

If you truely want 'self sufficient' DPS your best 2 options are WF FvS or, if your Divine crafting is in the high 80's, HElf/Human with Vampiric Khops can self heal up to 1,200HP a minute. Or just go max DPS and chug SF pots I guess.

Running a character through some fighter lives I've been using Ftr12/Rogue5/3 Barb.

TWF Kopesh Kensai with High UMD for Heal Scrolls and the ability to Rage it up for Raids.

DPS is excellent though not the same as a pure Ftr of course but survivability is top notch either solo or group.

The extra movement speed is nice too

He's Human for the extra skill point and the +1str/+1con from enhancements (Barb of course gives another +1 con). Also 20% Healing amp.

Lots of Toughness enhancements and since Feats are not in short supply Skill Focus UMD for no fail Heal Scrolls.

He has got a LOT of gear which really helps ~ for example he carries 2 Triple Pos Warhammers : the offhand one of which has 30% Healing Amp on Tier3 for boosting Heal Scrolls so I get about 180HP off a scroll.

Bottom line : DPS, Sealf Healing and can do Traps/Locks BUT requires gear and tomes...

Yea, of coruse helf > human for dps if you're going with the rogue one, but if he wanted some self sustain as well going human for that amp is quite useful.

I'd roll a helf though, if I rolled a new fighter / TRed my current one.

    Default Pure fighter

Go pure fighter Thf Kensai.. Max strength and con and a little into dex. Max out your Crits, Haste boost, take your toughness feats, I always choose human adaptability for a extra strength point, then later for another con point.. Great axe is your most popular choice for damage, like stated above being human will give you the extra feat/s and healing amp. Look up those builds they help alot.. remember too that everybody has a different idea more or less of what a good build is though!
Inkslinger currently lvl 10 legend barb/8 Fighter2 Ghallanda...

Another option is Max STR, 12 INT and rest CON. Eat a +1 Int tome at L3. Take Stunning Blow and Improved Trip as early as possible and spam them as much as possible...

If mobs are stunned/prone they cant hit you...
