    Question Saving throws...

Ok. So as I understand it, with saving throws a natural roll of 1 is suppose to be an auto failure.

Why is that I have seen on my paladin a natural roll of 1(+45) still come up a success? Should this not be a failure in all cases? Or does the auto fail only apply to certain situations? Or is this a bug that needs to be reported?

    automatic failures and successes

A natural 1 on a saving throw is always a failure. A natural 20 is always a success.

    Are you sure it wasn't a skill check? Skills don't auto-fail on 1 or auto-succeed on 20.
