Homonculous capstone progression?

the pet capstones say they require level 8 but they also require dex ii or str ii which are both level 10.

Is this intended since it seems to be out of whack?

Are most people getting evasion for thier pets? Alacrity?

How are you building yours?

(I am building for sneaking and evasion and defense.)

How is the tripping? If a pet could trip like an air elemental that would be very useful....

trip isn't too bad as far as effectiveness. i mean, even if it only works once every minute or so, you're still getting a free trip every minute.

the main problem is that i think sometimes when my dog either trips or intimidates, it sorta just stands still for a while afterwards.

but then, i suppose that's better than deciding a random crate in the next room (full of mobs) is in dire need of being smashed, so... i'll take what i can get ^^

Pet's can specialize one of two ways. You can give them Evasion and then Improved Evasion or you can give them 5% Double Strike which upgrades later to 10% Double Strike

Are pet enhancements seperate, in terms of the ap pool they draw from, from your characters? Or do both your character and pet pull from the same pool?

I would imagine its the same pool, which would make aps very tight on almost any build where you wanted a decent pet.

Pet has its own AP Pool. While you get 4 per level , they get 2 per level.
