    Default Thanks for including Epic (on the raids)

    Just wanted to get that out there before I pass out for the night..

    Was really shocked and please when Lacer sent me a tell saying Epics available..

    I was like.. Yea change of plans.. Epic!

    Awesome stuff, will add lots of replay value for sure. Mad props to Madfloyd and other devs who worked on that.

    Epic lord of blades in definetely a beast, well designed and scaled to the very top end where he's ultra tough, but seems quite beatable once you learn his many cool specials. (or even before that with enough brute force...)

    Oh yea and he's even hard on elite currently haha.. Might needs some tweaks to better deferentiated the modes.

    Count me as another to say thank you.

    Here's hoping that the current Elite and Epic (which are apparently basically the same) are what Elite is meant to be, and Epic is something off the charts.

    hehe stats wise he is pretty much already off the charts and as high as I'd like to see him. At least in regards to dmg output, hp, speed.
    Only thing that could be perhaps up'd is his defenses. Don't think his DR was much (It's adamantine + good, which my default weapon handls anyways), and not sure on resistances either.. Seems like divine punishment was doing prety massive dmg, so some extra light resistance may be good. there were some complaints about targetting it on him, but think thats a known issue, and it otherwise usually works if you avoid using the "tour" area.

    But mechanics wise they can definetely spruce up epic some to require more strategy and tactics without altering stats that may bring him into rather insane levels where only certain classes can compete.

    EG: More ways to slow us down to prevent kiting, more mobs.. more strategy required on the pillars, more timing required on the hounds, etc..

    I'll give some detailed feedback tommorow, off to bed.

    I am also very pleased with this Mod. I wish I could have seen some raid loot in the chest at the end of the raids but didn't get too. Oh well more of a surprise later

    It's fairly difficult on Normal, as well. Not ToD difficult, but definitely not a walk in the park. His damage is still quite high and in the 2 runs it took us to complete it, every party member had at least one death, most multiple deaths. The big problem seems to happen when he gets around 5% of his health while all the minions are spawning. We almost wiped on our second run, but our FvS managed to just get incapped, stabilized and got everyone raised while BB kiting the chaser mobs. Even with multiple death penalty levels it didn't take much to bring him down from 5% HP.

    We tried a bubble method type strategy o the second run, similar to eADQ runs. It seemed to work well, but didn't really prevent any deaths since he just knocks people around like they're nothing. Still made mass heals easier and kept him from roaming around too much. 350+ damage on some of his swings though... ouch. Especially on Normal. If you're not well geared, this isn't going to be your favorite raid.

    We had massive problems with the other raid, though. Mostly preparation/strategy problems. We didn't know what to expect or have a solid working plan on what to do. Those two titans are rough. 500-600 force damage out of nowhere, on normal, again. Can't imagine what kind of damage scaling is going on there for harder difficulties.

    Our biggest issue there was the Mark III with it's level 6 mantle. We were a caster-heavy group, and the DoTs weren't able to damage it. It's also not clear what you have to do until the entire party has wiped a few times. We brought down the Mark II three times before realizing both had to drop together just do we could have a chance at attacking the boss.

    Extremely hard raids. I welcome it!

    Still, in 6 months, we all know we'll be complaining that they're too easy now and we need a bigger challenge. :-)
