no actually i woudnt have posted a gripe on why no new raids on lama...

i dont believe they should be thier

basically lets see wen it goes live all the guilds that had people in those completed epics on lama ...

will all claim first worldwide completions.....and as always its because theve figured it out on lama first

and before every flames denies etc.....even if those people arent present they still tell others wat needs to be done lol

i have actually been involved in these kinda raids before wen they get droped on live

so basically it means we have to goto lama to compete and help design the way itll be run because it will be run the way the small group on lama do it now....

if turbine needs to test thier raids maybe they should have a testing team like everyone else lol

Because world-wide "fame" for completing a raid is so awesome? Come on, I just like to play the game. If it's on Lamania first and it works out a kink or two, so be it.

I dont know why would a game company put content on a test server.

Did they know about the bugs that have been found?
Just because a few go to learn the raids instead of test them.
I know my friends and I zerg like crazy, but we do flower sniff the new content. If you read everything its actually easier.

Probably because the nature of the game has shifted since it began. 1st completions are meh. More folks care about a stable update with less bugs then they do what guild/server does it first.

this when raids actually took a few days or week to get a first completion(or months in the case of the Titan), being first actually meant something, now with the ability to buy sp pots you can power your way through anything. Just look at the number of deaths they had. 30-40 deaths used to mean certain failure but now with full res and unlimited sp its just a bump in the road.

"Worldwide firsts" are laughable in DDO. New content is beatable day 1 w/o learning the raid first on Lam. This is not WoW where you might spend 5 nights during a week learning to beat boss #3 of 13.

Without testing and feedback would be released in a far worse state.

We already found and reported many many issues with them, and theres time to get those iron'd our before live, so player who wait for live and enjoy a smoother and beter experience.

And yea the whole race-to-be first thing because it's a realy impressive show of teamwork, skill, preparation etc idea died long ago when DDO went F2P and decided to give us things like overpowered unlimited store mana pots, and crazy classes that are essentially unkillable when in the right players hands (favored souls).

It's still something and definetely shows some real dedication and effort. But it can never be what it once was, that game just doesn't exist anymore. And in the new game.. Testing and feedaback is really far more important then offering equal oppertunity at whos first.

download the client. It's free. Then you can brag if that's your gripe. I don't see the point in this thread.
