U11 Set Bonuses Revealed

Inside the entrance to the Artificer Workshop explorer area, there are two identical crafting devices called "Cannith Reforging Stations". Among other things I found the recipies for the new Uniqe Set Bonuses. Here they Are.

~Tinker's Finesse~
Includes: Tinker's Gloves, Tinker's Goggles



~Magewright's Expertise~
Includes: Magewright's Cloak, Magewright's Spectales



~Fabricator's Ingenuity~
Includes: Fabricator's Bracers, Fabricator's Gauntlets



~Alchemist's Lore~
Includes: Alchemist's Pendant, Alchemist's Crown

*Note*
Each item in each set has it's own unlock recipe.

I didn't think to take a SS of it, but also in that device was upgrades for a named Rune Arm(I beleive named after the raid boss). Also some metal property upgrades for the new cannith raid crafted weapons.

(Subject for another thread...once I or sombody else gets some screen shots)

too bad the set bonuses are fixed. i was hoping that we could put set bonuses on any two items. would be a nice change. this is kinda more of the same.

We know all the parts. Dragonstar's got them all put together, if you haven't seen that page.

Seconded. Why not just stick the set bonus on the items like a ToD set since they're almost exactly the same? It's not like we can choose what to put on them. Why make us go through the process to unlock them when they only give us dubious benefits that we have from other raids/sets/items?

I mean... a set bonus that copies Tharne's goggles (VoD, level 18 raid), another that copies the Reaver's Napkin (Reaver's Fate, level 14 raid), one that basically copies a ToD set (though a decent one), and one that gives you the stupidest SP conservation method I've ever seen. Oh, I can save 30% on my casting cost if I stay almost dead! Not worth the chance of dying. Soulstones can't cast anything at all, nor can they chug a pot.

Lackluster to say the least.

I think that one is more about the sp discount on maximize, empower, and empower healing. A fvs with all 3 of those saves 6 sp per spell. That's pretty good.

I take it the dc increase doesnt stack with ship buffs or items? If so Magewright seems pretty useless if you carry clickies.

Yeah. That was my dumb moment for the day, my bad. >.> I do them at the same time I do Shrouds on my TRs, so I just think of them all as the same time/level. My bad.

Tinker's Gloves and Tinker's Goggles go together.

...I need to go re-look at these items. I could have sworn the Alchemist's Pendant and the Fabricator's Bracers went together, since they drop in the same quest. But you're right, it's showing "Fabricator's Guantlets"... it's making me wonder if that's another Copy + Paste messup? Or if we really are just missing that item...

We have 5 "Nearly Finished" items. If you look at the sets as listed in the images, it's supposed to be:
Spectacles (Goggles) + Cloak for Magewright
Gloves + Goggles for Tinker
Bracers + ...Gloves for Fabricator?

This is where I'm confused. Even the crafting altar only had 6 unlock recipes. The necklace says "Nearly Finished", but isn't listed in the altar?
I'm thinking Guantlets = Necklace. I mean, since they're in the same quest, i seriously don't see why they wouldn't be part of the same set.
