That was awesome! It made Lord of Blades look weak sauce imo. We had to figure the raid out a bit also as there is a Lighting Trap in there that will destroy a party on Epic if you don't know what your doing. That was the best raid ive ran in quite some time. +1 to Turbine. It would have been a little(key word little) easier if we weren't 7 manning it but meh it is what it is.

One thing is for sure: These raids will have a good skill requirment on epic so for the Hardcore gamers out there, you will enjoy this.

Much kudos on this and the other Raid's completion.

It does make me sad that a new epic raid was beaten on the first day by a short man group. (no matter how talented the players were)

I will say this: Yes we did short man it. However this raid is a beast. It is unforgiving on Elite/Epic. This is the hardest quest in the game by a long shot period. It will be interesting to see how groups end up running this without using pots.

Anyone that thinks this raids a joke bc it got short manned is going to be upset when this goes live heh.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure you it was difficult and expensive. I was just hoping that they would get a raid out that on the hardest difficulty setting it would challenge people like you and Teth and Groan with its completion for at least a few days.

I hear ya, well for what its worth (and I can only speak for myself not the others) but it was a challenge for sure.

We would have loved to have had some big fat melees in there trust me. Go hp heavy or go home melees. If anything these raids will help rebalance some of the power shift (especially the arrtifcer one).

Okay folks so today we ran this quest on Epic x1 then we ran it on Elite x1 and then ended the night off with a quick Normal run (18 Min).

Here are some things that I noticed:

Elite is harder then Epic or at least it is on Lama. Its basically the same as Epic only the mobs have higher saves it seems.

Normal isn't that bad. I can see this being what people run the raid on once it goes live. On Epic/Elite Its absolutely insane. on Normal is comparable to maybe a little harder then Tod normal.

This raid is made for a balanced party meaning not all casters/fvs

so all you melee players are going to be having some major fun!

It's llama=no pot cost considerations at all. Not that the likes of these players would mind downing 100+ pots
on live for a world first completion.

Very much gratz btw. I'm assuming pots were drunk? Any guess at the base ,we have an idea what we're doing,
cost for a pug?

For the whole day, including clearing to the actual raids I drank atleast 250 pots.
