    Default Modules bugged?

    I managed to get a +1 handwrap to convert into a module after some mechanical trap part farming... and when I make it, joy of joys it's ready for crafting!

    I put it on the puppy to test it initially and... it as a yellow exclaimation mark like it's not proficient? Curious.... and despite it being a "Weapon" on a technicality I can't imbue it with any element But I ignore this and do the other crafting processes, and I try to put it in every crafting machine in house K and none of them will accept the module so I cannot enchant it

    So I go "Maybe it's a glitch" and disenchant it to attune it to crafting... well now it's lost it's +1 and no machine will take it still. Is there something grave I'm doing wrong? I even googled the issue and skimmed the forums and people just aren't talking about gearing the pet up much and some people outright leave it naked from 0 to 20. So a sticky or information FAQ would be nice.

    When you convert handwraps into a module it has the effects that the handwraps had BEFORE you converted them to a module.

    You cannot add other effects to it after it's been converted (as far as I know).

    i.e.

    +1 Handwraps == +1 Module

    +5 Flaming Burst Handwraps of Pure Good == +5 Flaming Burst Module of Pure Good

    DOH. Yeah that'd do it... the module saying "Craftable" is what threw me off very badly.

    Many thanks for the info.

    You can craft the handwraps using the Cannith Crafting, then use those handwraps in the Device Workstation to create a Module.

    I made +4 Holy Handwraps of Bleed and made them into a module.....pretty big upgrade to doggie-dps.

    Planning on doing same thing with docents.

    can any handwraps be used?

    ...as in, could a sufficiently motivated character with Epic Handwraps of Endless Light convert those into a module? that would strike me as "powerful"

    Named handwraps cannot be used to make modules.

    I ran into the same problem as the OP. I find it somewhat weird and unfortunate that once it is crafted you cant touch it, though I also find it strange that you have to use Handwraps of all components to make them in the first place. I would have though it would be Parts+Docent to make a Module, but oh well.
