Kensai and Crossbows?

So are Crossbows officially one-handed weapons now? Do they fall into the +1 Damage or +2 Damage part of the Kensai description?

Crossbows remain two handed weapons, but the Runearm weapon for Artificers does not interfere with the use of Crossbows.

I didn't bother looking it up, but I think ranged weapons are the same as one-handed weapons as far as kensai goes.
