Construct beaters any value?

I pulled both a smiter and a chaotic of greater construct bane weapon from the same quest yesterday. Can CoGCB fetch good money like devil beaters? Unfortunately the latter is a bastard sword, else I'd keep it.

For people who stumbled upon this thread: these are "portal beaters" in the Shroud raid and good vs. other constructs such as the Marut.

If your lucky enough to find a smiter with just about any prefix on it such as holy, holy burst, metaline, anarchic for a portal beater I have found that they are the best.

The chaotic of greater constuct bane bastard sword is a very nice protal beater for the shroud on every toon. The -4 to hit doesnt matter at all, the portals have low AC. But the high base damage of the sword is good. Protals cant be critted, therefore greatswords, grataxes, bastardswords and dwarfen axes are the best weapons on them.

Not really, in wraith-form they are no longer counted as living constructs, they are undead, so its just a ghost touch. Utterly worthless combination (Smiting is still useful, just GT is wasted).

My ranger has a Ghost touch greatsword of Greater dragon bane. As this is the only Greater dragon bane weapon I ever found, I certainly kept it.

And DDO does in fact have one incorporeal dragon. Unfortunately its type is Undead, so GDB does nothing to it. Sigh.
