Default Apologies from Athealas for Shroud

Formal Apoloies to the Shroud Group earlier

My mouse batteries failed, and when I went to get new batteries, I didn't have any (darn kid toys..). I tried to find a wired one, going through all my old electronics to no avail, by the time I got back from the store down the road, I was already autologged.

Not my normal standard, so I wanted to alologize.

    Default I like wireless mice...

Until I started gaming, than it became more of a problem then the cord.

Sorry this happened to you. Hope you come up with a plan to prevent this from happening again

Mine was to give up on Wireless Mice.

I hate wireless mice. Playing DDO, the batteries on my last one died after like 3 days of gaming. Went with a cord since then.

I'm thinking of getting a wireless headset/mic though. THAT cord bugs the hell out of me, specially since its always getting twisted up.

Be cautious, I have a nice quality pair, but without constant flow of sound my head set "turns off" and I get the white noise blasting in my ears.

I don't know what aspect to look for, but that's my story.

To the OP - too funny. I keep a wired mouse in my drawer for back up, its the keyboard batteries that really slay me. Esp since I use push to talk, all i can so is spin around with the mouse. Good times.

Logitech puts out a nice wireless mouse that is very easy on the batteries - the M510 - I can play for months (yes, months) without changing the batteries.

But, I will keep a corded one handy in the future.

I've had good success and battery life with my Logitech "Cordless Optical Trackman" - a multi-buttoned trackball (T-RB22). With arthritis in my hands and wrists, using a mouse becomes painful quickly; the ergonomics people here at work organized one for me here, and I then purchased one for my home use. I find that I get about 5 or 6 months to a set of batteries using these devices.

But a +1 to going for a wired mouse. Gaming on a wireless = bad idea.

The is why you get Nimble Fingers. You are able to quickly pull out battires , with a pair of charged or unused disposable bats near by. Change it out in under 20 seconds and no one even would know!
