Pretty much any time on Saturday, I'm thinking.

Yep. I won't claim to be divine Automatic Win Button, but my clerics do heal. The only caveat is that if you break line of sight or go rushing ahead I will assume you don't need immediate healing. Don't assume I'll follow if you break from the group (part of my job as I see it is defending the rear), and if there IS an emergency the quickest way to get attention is to get back within range of mah magicks. Unless something changed recently, I can't heal you through walls.

If you get under about 15% of your HP, best thing is probably assume I can't hit you up with a heal, chug a CLW or two and chew on me about it after the battle. That way, nobody goes down thinkng "Y U NO HJEAL ME???????" Chances are also good that if I hear a potion going off I'll make an effort to find whoever's chugging it.

Also Parkoor and myself as Pay to Play, so we have all content unlocked, I do not know if we talked about that or not. Its no big deal, but might help for us to get on the same page.
I've got most of the lowbie content unlocked. Some of the not-so-recommended middle content I skipped but I've got a decent chunk of that too. The endgame stuff we'll have to discuss when we get there but I should have at least a couple of those unlocked (though I've yet to get far enough to play that content).

If you REALLY need the verbatim list, say the word and I'll figure it out.
We've got three kinds of players here: Those who play DDO like it's WoW, those playing like it's Dungeons & Dragons, and those playing like it's a generic first person shooter. Choose your advice accordingly.

If you want to try to get together tomorrow, set a time, and should be able to make it (preferably early afternoon). Also I was looking over the thread and realized 9:30 EST is not 10:30 CST like I was thinking, lol. I usually don't get off until about 9-9:30 CST so won't be able to make it online 'til about 10 (11 EST). Is that acceptable?

If your math is right, that's 8:00(am/pm?) my time. Works for me!

09:30 EST is just the time I am able to start playing. I can start later and play later, I was just stating a fact ::smiles::

I vote for 11 CST, which would be noon my time. If you guys want to meet, I will be on Dernfalt on the Thelanis sever goofing off!

Okay so as to make this work, and we avoid time confusion!

Saturday August 20th I will be on Thelnas server from 12pm (EST) to 2 pm (EST)

I will be on again Sunday August 21st from 10 AM (EST) to 12 PM (EST).

I hope we can figure this out and start playing this tuesday! I am excited to meet you.

I would like to be in on this. Tues late nite is good for me. if we are talking about starting around 10PM EST.

I am not too inventive, I like smashing things. So I like to play pure fighters. Any server is fine. Just let me know.

I would prefer not to play permadeath, but the post from the person from The Core is right on one point, the need for a guild. Not only for some buffs from the guild ship (always nice) but also for the ability to use some items. Require a guild membership to be able to use.

Let me know if you have a space for me.

    thanks

So far it looks like we'll be on Thelanis and we've still got three spaces open.

Ok, three of us managed to find each other in game. We've got a Healer, a Ranger, and a wildcard (possibly fighter or bard) so far. Still needing an aggro sponge and some arcane spell nukage.

As an aside, if anyone's interested in the permadeath play, I've created a guild for it on Ghallanda that won't insist on including every iron man rule imaginable in our definition of permadeath. I'll probably be hitting the recruitment section with more info on that.

You fighter is that a Tank or a DPS? we could really use either at this point.

We are hammering stuff out as we speak. We are going to form a guild callded "Late Night Brigade". For not we are going to play Tuesday and possibly Wed from 11 est to when ever.

Someone is setting up a forums for us for the full rules will be there.

The question came up about which adventure packs we might be running. I did some checking in the DDO store and figured out what I've got and what I don't:

I have ALL of the lowbie packs. In fact, it's easier to list what I'm missing:

    Attack on Stormreach
    Demon Sands
    Devils of Shavarath
    Dreaming Dark
    Harbinger of Madness
    Path of Inspiration
    Reaver's Reach
    Red Fens
    Reign of Madness
    Vault of Night

I have extra TP's and can afford to unlock a few more if there's a must-have item in that list, but at least half that stuff is high level content we won't see for a while yet.

I want in on this one!!! I have a rogue/sorceress in the makings. I noticed there's already a spellslinger in the group, but I'd like in on the fireworks (no pun intended). She'll start as a Rogue, however, for the first few levels, then level up as a Sorceress, if that be okay with the group.

My fighters are usually DPS, never have figured out true tanks. I use 2h weapons (I know some of you believe in twf, but it doesn't seem to work for me.) Been using Greatswords and Greataxes, but talking with other folks I think I am missing out on some damage by not using falchions.

Tues is good for me, but I have a group I run with on Wed.

Website looks to be in good shape so far, lnb.guildlaunch.com

When you send your application in to get invited, send me a PM on the forums with the name you're using so I know who it is, please. Thanks!

Just got a message from Ardwynna (that's the friend I mentioned might be interested, btw). She might not be able to make it this Tuesday. Internet issues.

    She really wants to though.

Everything will hopefully hold out until tomorrow night, so please add Lochlyn Erceldounne to your friends list.

Sent in request to join. Not sure what you want on application.

Toon's name is Qrc Rasa a half orc Barb.

He was thrown out of his tribe, because he likes butterflies. He will stop what ever he is doing to stare at a butterfly and try to catch them. His father was embarrassed and after many beating Qrk many times finally disowned him. As a youngster in the tribe with no family, he was eventually chased out of the tribal encampment and off tribal grounds. He has been wandering ever since, looking for a friend.

    Default Moar Players!

Okay, it looks like Ardwynna has bowed out permanently due to school and other things. We could probably use one or two more players. Right now we're short in the tanking and casting departments.

So... if anyone's got an open character slot and some free time on Tuesday nights (11pm Eastern), join in!

Default Having fun with it so far...

...but we're short-manning it on some weeks. We could still use some extra players. We're playing on Thelanis Tuesdays around 8:00 PM Pacific time.

We played through Water Works on normal last week. A couple of us are nearly up to level 4. Don't feel bad if you're feeling behind the curve; it won't take that long to catch up. If you can make game night, jump on in! If interested, post here or message Talmonde in game or any member of the Late Night Brigade.
