    Default Looking for Perma Group

Hello, recently I have seen several posts about people looking for set groups to run! I really like this idea. So I am looking to see if anyone is interested!

I would like to idealy join a fresh sever so as to play the game purely! No help from bigger toons (not even a few plat)

I would like to schedule a game day that everyone can make without much effort so we can actually enjoy leveling as a group!

The only restrictions I would put on the group is that there is a healer and a tank type, so we do not wipe. I would perfer PnP just for the content! I also have the 32 point build avialable, but thats not a big deal to me!

If you are interested post here or drop a mail to Lightspark on Thelanis and we can set something up!

Sounds interesting, but would depend on the day and time. I'm usually not off work 'til around 10ish CST through the week, if that helps any.

I would be cool with a later evening group! Call it the Late Night Brigade.

If there's any particular day that's good for you, lemme know. I do have 32 point builds, VIP and veteran if we want to start at level 4. I'm pretty open to what type of character to make as well. I also might be able to get a friend in for a third member.

I don't really have a set day to be honest. Not one in mind anyway. I figured I would leave that open, but yeah if you know someone let me know!

So for times I am thinking 9:30 EST for the earliest start time. That gives me time to get home after work and get ready!

Sounds good. How would Tuesdays work for you? I occasionally have 16 hour shifts on Mondays and that kinda leaves me feeling beat.

Sounds good. Do you have any special rules in mind? I've been thinking of making some permadeath characters myself.

I was not gonna follow the perma death rules.

When I use to play DDO Perma Groups meant groups a set group that ran every week togehter, had no outside help from bigger toons and didnt use inside knowledge to avoid danger!

    The rules would be simple.

    1. Roll up a fresh character at level 1 (after deciding on classes).
    2. Get through the intro dungeon and wait for game night to play!
    3. Fight every dungeon on Normal and or Hard for exp and gear!
    4. Have fun!

    5. No outside help, not even a few plats!
    6. No playing that character without the group
    7. No dungeon spoilers.
    8. Have fun!

    9. No rule just needed a place holder.

    10. HAVE FUN!

    Does that explain it?

Oh yeah PnP would be prefered for content avialablity! Also 32 Point builds are a plus but not required! That is all!

I should be on tonight around 10 CST. And on and off tomorrow throughout the day probably (have a bachelor party to go to tomorrow night at some point, whenever they decide on a start time).

The reason I asked what sever you are on Callavan is so I can talk to you about this! I am thinking maybe we should set up a meeting time this weekend. If you have any free time post it up so we can all meet and chat about this group!!!!

I rolled on Thelanis (Cleric), thinking that's where you're playing. I can do it again on a different server if you'd prefer.

Also if we wanna do it on Thelanis, we're both fine with that. Neither of us have toons there, which works out.

Lots of players seeking a similar experience have found a good place to play in permadeath guilds. Everyone joins the guild after having read the guild rules, some of which are like the guidelines you posted (no help from alts, no playing outside the guild, etc.).

The Core HC Permadeath Guild is on Khyber. You can see the guild webpage on the signature of my posts.

The advantages of joining a PD guild? Adventurers in quests have roughly the same power, and we only use items that we pull from chests and get from end rewards. We run quests "elite once and done" for levels 1-6, on hard/elite 7-13 level quests, and 14+ we go n/h/e.

Sometimes regular groups, or "static" groups as they are called, are frustrating because someone can't make it a certain night, playing times are very limited and inflexible, but with a PD guild there is a lot more flexibility.

Check it out if interested. Each server has people in PD guilds with varying rulesets.

I would like to be in on this. Tues late nite is good for me. if we are talking about starting around 10PM EST.

I am not too inventive, I like smashing things. So I like to play pure fighters. Any server is fine. Just let me know.

I would prefer not to play permadeath, but the post from the person from The Core is right on one point, the need for a guild. Not only for some buffs from the guild ship (always nice) but also for the ability to use some items. Require a guild membership to be able to use.

Let me know if you have a space for me.

    thanks
