    Default Flying (trap) Monkey

    Ok so

    Background ...
    (1) I need to make an epic trap & lock-capable FVS.
    (2) Yes, I lost a bet. Maybe it was a dare. Either way.

    Further details ...
    (a) To channel a bit of Grodon9999, I'd rather stick his junk in a beehive than grind out a new set of gear - ESPECIALLY for a build that screams "OMGIMP" ... so build will likely be a TR, probably a TR1 just so I don't have to deal with shroud mess ... mostly likely either a monk-fvs or a rogue platform
    (b) I've got a fair amount of "stuffs" for a rogue ... both BTA and some soon-to-be-ready epic gear that I could spin up



    Now I know I've seen some of them around. Staring at the skills I want and the targets I'd like to hit, I'm looking at the wrong side of INT ... as in putting it at about 16 to start and maybe even a few level-ups. That just seems wrong to me.


    So, someone out there has a rogue-fvs. What's in your divine trap monkey? What skills did you completely ditch? Thoughts on weaponry / faith? I could abandon that and just swing sticks, etc.

    I'm giving this a shot... That being said I'm sure it could use some tweaking. I went for evoker/healer fvs with trap skills. I kept the rogue lvs down to two this will give you evation and hopefully wont mess with your spells that much. I took the faith based on healing alone, but it might be ok if you get a sirroco or Etimeblade not to sure about your to hit in that case (maybe get both, LR, swap wis stats for str, and some feat changes [spell boosters for twf line?]). I'll do the trapping math based off the lowest skill (not OL you can reroll on these) DD = base22
    22 (base) +3 (+6 int item) +20 (item [epic utility vest/epic time sensing goggles) +5 (human versataly) +2 (luck [hogf]) +4 (gh) +3 (stacking +3 [raves eye/bracers from gh raid]) +6 (ex gs/DT skill item) +1 (+2ex stat item) = 66.
    Thats over the the no fail on epic 65 that I've heard but it is a bit of a grind. If you have the event scope and ring lots of this is is taken care of, and the biggest grind will be the DT/GS ex skill stuff.

    As for the wepon It doesn't realy matter I'd go with some GS wepon that has either a healing booster or ex Wis/Chr, but up to you realy. Weild it in the off hand and scrolls in the main. I say this because your not going to want to swap all the time and if your taking offensive spells you'll most likely need to be doing alot of scroll healing.

    Anyway here goes.
