Ok this is not only for the truely new but for those who have been playing a while too.

This is not a consol game the people you group with are real people who have real fealings and real issues to deal with. There are some who play who are deaf, color blind, speek different languages, and can be very young to well seasoned. We all come from different upbringings and have various ways to interpret things. When you join a group you are a team and you need to work as such its not a one pony show.

Things you SHOULD DO ALWAYS.
1. when you first join a group let the leader if not the whole group know if you dont have sound or you are deaf. dont wait till your in 10 or 15 mins in and oh yeah thats why your not listening to the leader. if you dont have mic its a good idea to let the leader know if you have a language barrier problem. I've grouped with a party of all italians i cant speak italian. if you dont understand something get clerification dont just run about find out what you need to be doing ask question or youll never get an answer.

2. If your the leader of the group you should always try to stay neutral and open minded listen to party suggestions your leader not king (or queen). if you know you have a child in the group you need to try and make sure the other party members keep a civil tounge. If you know the quest well remind the other players what kind of weapons or spells the group will need before you start the quest. Also before you start or in the lfm let the people know what kind of pace the groups going to move at slow and get opts. or zerger mode what have you. If someone falls behind or gets lost its your job as leader to help them any way you can. In some cases after you have your quest group together the best thing you can do is give lead to someone else.

3. you are in an adventure game...you go on quests kinda makes sense to go with proper provisions. You should always carry an item the restores your health points: potions, wands, or scrolls. If your not immune to it carry the pot that fixes it more often than not a cleric ( or whom ever the healer is) has more immportant things to do than constantly unpoisoning or deblinding you. when not in a battle heal yourself dont waste the healers sp, items and money its your life you save it.

4. never expect every caster to have your desired spells not every one has firewall no big deal. casters, clerics and rouges are more than one trick characters and everyone plays thiers differently. If all you want is for firewall or haste or some one to pick locks and save you from traps, or to follow you about to heal you get a hireling. we are our own person not your slave or nanny.

5. if you have to go afk say or type something dont just vanish without a word.
