Or is the appearance of greater essences in the DDO store the death knell of overwrite?

No word from devs about it ever working. No word from devs when it was removed in 10.1. No word from devs about it returning ever.
Although I have heard others say that it still works on live right now, as least in some instances. Needs more testing.Author of Info Blue UI Skin (Really wish Turbine would update the skinning interface and enable all the new UI parts.)
If you don't have an SSD, you should be using DDOPreload (fixes the slow first login issue)
