    Default Crafting XP?

Crafted early on before all the changes so a few quick questions:

How do people gain crafting XP now?

I remember reading that shards would no longer yield xp upon decon, so what does everyone do with the shards created during the crafting process that will never be used?

With the failure in crafting eating up ingredients, does it make sense to even attempt recipes greater than 5-10% failure? I'm talking about the ones that require certain collectables/soul gems and/or rare items?

I don't mind burning collectables for the better returns, but rare items, no, I wouldn't.

On bound shard, consider levelling giving preference for things you might need in the future, better to make 10 holy that you will one day use even if it makes a tiny bit less xp than something you won't use. Shard of potential are nice that way, eventually you will use them. You still want to decon the stuff you craft if you don't need it, might as well get some of the ingredients back.

Also when you are levelling on unbound shards, consider preference to those rescipies that might have AH value. For example, if you make a bunch of unbound PG, holy, LOB, etc, people may have an interest in buying them and you might do better financially that way than getting back the decon value.
