Now, now, let's settle down boys & girls
As far as AC builds, I definitely agree with Elraido that an AC based character works well outside of epics. I can solo any Amrath quest on normal without much trouble and quite often in a group will be the last man standing when everything hits the fan and have saved many a quest by being able to do so.
The question of whether barbarians are the future (untill the trend changes yet again) depends on the new quests that we'll be up against (I haven't tried them yet). If they are relatively easy and you don't really need AC to survive / healing is still plentiful, then this continues the trend of more DPS / who cares about any type of meaningful defense. If so, that'll be too bad as it's fun for quests to be challenging.

Well, it depends on the mission and what is going on. If everyone just tries to zerg Elite sins with out the tank in front just grabbing everything, yeah it will happen. Also there are times, like when I have been tanking VoD and some how the group wipes from the trash while I am sitting there hitting Sulli....or similar things happening in ToD. It happens.

/Agreed, it all depends on what's going on. It's also unfortunate with the changes to intimidate that it's now difficult to grab aggro of groups of mobs when everyone else in the party decides they want to attack a different monster and AOE spells are being cast left and right.
