    Question Animation glitch

I go into WW and there's a pack of kobolds. They didn't spot me yet. When they hear something or think they see something they move away from their position to look for the source. The glitch is right there - from the standing still stance and moving to look around. I have 140ms latency and see that the kobold is standing still when going to look around (the mesh is moving, but animation isn't being played). After a few seconds perhaps, the "walk" animation is getting played.

This doesn't happen only with kobolds, as I saw it in the Vale on Lions, Trolls, humans in necro1 and so on. It's pretty general.

When I first saw this glitch, I thought badly about this game. Still it is kinda annoying.

What do you players think about it? Did you notice the same thing? If yes, /discuss. I already reported this as a bug, but devs said it's only lag. I disagree. Frame rate remains stable so it's not lag like in Shroud (comic book effect).

Thus the enemy always gets the drop on you. By the time you see them moving they already have moved and most often have a target lock.

If you play a wizard then use a summoned monster like the bearded devil. He can spot hiding creatures and does
teleport onto them. Watch how this interaction works as compared to what happens without a summoned monster.
Keep in mind the summoned monster is server run so no lag to his reaction time.

Summoned monster is something else. This is purely an animation glitch... I know that lag has some influence, but a few seconds... CMON!

Considering this animation glitch... It needs to be fixed as a "monster WALKING and looking around". Currently it's "monster STANDING STILL and looking around".

Use a summoned monster that is how you can test for lag because the summoned monster is server run.
Compare the summoned monster movement to the enemy movement. Then you have your apples to apples test as both are server based.

Your network latency has nothing to do with your frame rate.

You can practice blind fighting :P A rogue can have a very fun time putting things to the knife while not yet seeing them.
