Zawabis Revenge @ LVL DUO

Greetings everyone.

Me and wifey managed to duo zawabis revenge at lvl 12. we are shiny happy for actually making it, for we spent quite some time on the try and wanted to share the experience with you guys.

Spent resources on completion
- 6 Mnemonic enhancement pots(not the major, nor the greater)
- 10 Raise Dead Scrolls
- LVL 10 shield wand (5 charges)

History
We TRed and tought we had enough gear to try a @ lvl demon queen duo since finding one @ lvl group was near impossible. Vivians an intimitank, AC is her business and we tought it wouldnt be much of a problem for we built the couple to overcome our first real foe in DDO, lailat.
Then we stepped in. Was a nightmare. She ignored vivians intimidates and went straight to me. Even with quicken, I couldnt heal all the dmg she was doing on my cleric.
We posted a BUG, went to the forums to check the community and didnt get much attention.

1 Week later
After a frustration week break, we decided to defeat the queen anyway even if we had to spend resources doing so. Instead of blocking and healling through, I decided to run from her. There wasnt a single try where the lag didnt killed me, so vivian started to buy raise dead scrolls. She had 20% sucess on the trys and as long as the blades didnt get in the arena, she could rezz me up back. So when vivian had the agro, she beated her to death and I did my share of Divine Punishments(efficacy item, no enhancements). When Lailat raged, I couldnt outrun her. There were 3 trys with rages that went into failure before the 4th worked on, for she had her randon agro on vivian and we managed to kill her before she switched to me. I did not counted the trys, but it was a big number, we assure you that.

Conclusion

We are way too disapointed. The fact that we couldnt manage her agro is really a downer on a boss that has 44 base attack and 6-18 attacks per turn and can easily kill you if you sneeze for a second. Shes lvl 12, not a very popular raid at this lvl, but try to imagine if horoth had randon agro. Making a stalwart defender is becoming pointless. It was a frigging nightmare that I dont want to repeat until her agro is fixed. The marilith chain is fun tough. Not exactly what we wanted, but good to know all the effort was rewarded somehow.

Drendal
Drendal is an offensive caster type cleric terror of the undead. Its main focus is healling, then he spends his resources and strategies on offensive casting boosting.

Drendali
AC focused shieldmaiden, drendalis job is to defend. We are trying the new shield bashing feat and DPS enhances for her, but her job is preety much hold the high to-hit bonuses badies.

We like drows. Vivian finds them cute.

About her agro

Sometimes I felt the intimidate worked. But not all the times. For intance, there were time when drendal was not attacking, and she did switched from me to him. Intimidating her back at times like that did not work.

In my opinion, she is clearly deffective. In a full lvl 12 party, it would be really tough to manage the development of the raid.

way to stick with it. i remember wayyy back when 12 was the cap a ranger solo'd it and it was a pretty big deal. 2- manning at level is worth a bit of pride.

a full raid group simply stays together and mass cures so who has her aggro doesnt matter too much

In future let cleric solo DQ and fighter aggro/kite archers and efreeti.

Cleric should cycle nimbus, SL, holy smite, and DP dropping a single or double BB path to kite her thru never more than that as thr fighter should avoid the BB so not to xfer aggro.

Drop single target geals as needed.
