so, after the first news about U11 came out i realized that it may be a good time to TR my main into a build that is more, let's say, suited to fight high fort monsters (even if my build if far better off than a pure rogue in such situations...). Since i have quite a nice collection of handwraps i went again with an unarmed build. The split i took into considerations is a classic - 12 Ftr/6 Rng/2 Mnk no sneak attack, everything to increase base damage or rate of attack - but interpreted as an unarmed build in a novel way i hope.
Race choices are mainly two: Human and Warforged. Human gets the higher damage (due to the revised damage boost), healing amplification and possibility to reach higher AC. Warforged gets better and more versatile tactics. I will try to present both variant.
Alignment: Lawful-Neutral
Stats:
Initial Stats for a 34p, Wf and human from left to right if different:
Str 17
Dex 15
Con 16, 14
Int 8
Wis 11, 13
Cha 6, 8
lvl ups in str. a +2 dex tome is needed for G. Twf.
Feats:
The foundamental feats are:
Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, G.Twf, P.A., Thoughness, Quickdraw, I.C. Bludg., Stunning Fist, 2xW.Focus, 2xW. Spec.
it remains 3 feats for the wf and 4 for the human to customize the build to your tastes, particularly useful to fit PL feats. extra thoughness or ranged feats (for manyshot use) are good alternatives. i haven't really decided how to assign those feats in my own build yet. atm i'm considering to get cleave, great cleave and sword of shadows for some AoE fun and some situational SA.
Favored enemy choices could be evil outsider and construct (if the new raids are challenging enough). the name of the build comes from the latter.
Enanchements:
The common enhanchements go like this:
For the Human good choices are:Code:F. Attack Boost II 3 F. Crit Acc II 3 Kensai II 6 K. Weap. Mast. II 2 F. Weap. Spec I 1 F. Haste Boost IV 10 F. Extra Boost I 2 F. Strength II 6 F. Though II 3 F. Tactics (SB) III 6 R. Sprint Boost I 1 R. Fav. Dmg II 3 R. Tempest I 4 Way of the Tortoise I 1 ---------------------------- 51p
For the WF:Code:F. Flanking I 2 H. Versatility IV 10 H. Recovery III 12 H. Though II 3 H. Adapt 2 ---------------------------- 29p
With some of the usual max dps gear (eclaw, litany, FB & shintao sets) the WF variant deals more than 400dps over 5 minutes versus 100% fort non-favored enemies. I suspect the human variant to do at least 10% more but at the moment it is difficult to evaluate.Code:F. Tactics (Trip) III 6 Healer Friend I 2 W. P.A. III 6 W. Con II 6 W. Though II 3 W. Tactics III 6 ---------------------------- 29p
This togheter with excellent to-hit, plentiful stunning vs trash, Evasion, respectable HP, useful AC while leveling and manyshot burst dps, the dismantler shows a lot of promise as a successor of my black lotus.
