decon broken items?

somewhere in the great crafting debale you could put +6 total enhancements on a +5 blank without useing shards of potental.

whilst i can strip the prefex/suffix for essences, unfortunetly i cannot strip the item back to it's base metal and start again. i get an error message about this raiseing the crafting level beyond the max.

slightly annoying when ive got 3x adamantine khopeshs i want to rework.

please let me decon these puppies, they are not exactly cheap

Try to place a shard of potential +6. chance are it will get it back to work. (yes I know what you mean about potential power 6 with craftable(+5) ... )

I had the same issue, had some +4 Holy Silver rapiers I used while levelling and went to put LOB on them. It wouldn't allow me to put a +6 potential on it, saying it didn't have enough potential to apply that shard. Also wouldn't allow for deconstruction.
