Default Installation problems with Windows 7

Okay, New HP Laptop with Windows 7 home 64 on it. I start the standard res install and after the initial window to select my language I get this error:

    Cannot open file
    C:\Users\Toby\AppData\Local\Temp\is-PCSQB.tmp\splash_screen_en.bmp

I've already tried changing my UAC by the way and didn't help. I'm still getting to know Windows 7 as well, so any help here is appreciated. As far as system specs:

    Run chkdsk /f

    Try again.

Run CCleaner (don't clean registry, however).

    Try again.

What anti-malware program(s) do you have installed?

    No change.

BitDefender Internet Security is my antivirus/firewall/malware

    Default Fixed!

Okay, BitDefender 2012 is the problem in my case. Disabled, and install works. So more than likely anyone getting the same error, which was a runtime error at 39:524, it more than likely has to do with your malware software.

    Thanks!

Check your Bitdefender logs, then Windows event logs.

That would be reason enough for me to drop Bitdefender in favour of something else (Comodo, avast!, or AVG); if you have to disable your security to have normal operation, it isn't effective.
